The 2025 One Promise Gala

Although we were not able to donate $15,000 to OneChild after event costs, we are incredibly grateful to have raised almost $18,000.  Our heartfelt "thank you".

On Saturday, October 4th, 2025, we came together for an unforgettable evening of jewelry, purpose, and the promise of change. The 6th Annual One Promise Gala united our community in support of OneChild, the world’s first youth-led organization dedicated to ending the sexual exploitation and trafficking of children through education, advocacy, and survivor support.

The night was filled with impact and inspiration, highlighted by Cheryl Perera, OneChild’s founder and 2025 Nobel Peace Prize nominee, who moved us all with her powerful story and vision for a world where every child is free.

We were also honoured to have several members of OneChild’s Youth Advisory Squad (YAS) in attendance, including three who took the stage as guest speakers. One of them, a 14-year-old child sexual assault survivor, stood before the room and shared her story with extraordinary courage. Her confidence and poise transformed the initial tears in the audience into awe.

This year’s gala hit differently. It awakened hearts, sparked conversations, and reminded us all that change begins when compassion meets action. Guests left not only inspired, but ready to make a tangible difference in the lives of children everywhere.

The theme of the evening was “Promise.” Guests were invited to choose a personal statement to accompany their photo booth images, generously provided by Sweet Pics Photo Booth. The promises included “I promise to be the change,” “I promise to lead with kindness,” and “I promise to stand for love.” Those simple yet powerful words continued to echo long after the gala, a reflection of the shared commitment that united everyone in the room.

We were also proud to unveil our highly anticipated new jewelry collection, created to symbolize hope, resilience, and empowerment.

Because of your generosity, we have raised over $125,000, and donated $90,213. You have provided women and children in Canada and around the world with renewed hope, healing, and freedom. None of this would have been possible without your belief in our mission and your unwavering support.

Together, we turned a night of promise into lasting impact.
