On September 22nd, 2018, C.J.ROCKER hosted our second annual gala; this year entitled the FREEDOM ROCK Fundraiser Gala in celebration of our new collection which shares the same name. At a packed house at the Spoke Club in Toronto, guests enjoyed a gourmet three-course meal including custom cookies featuring the C.J.ROCKER logo, unlimited wine and Peroni, and a silent auction.
This year, we expanded our reach globally; supporting One Body Village Canada, a non-profit who exists to restore hope to sexually abused and exploited children in Vietnam and Cambodia. In Southeast Asia, the resources are limited and widespread poverty, low education, cultural attitudes, and pervasive corruption perpetuate the cycle of child sexual abuse and exploitation.
Our intention was to donate $15,000 in order to support One Body Village in reaching their full fundraising goal for the year. We are extremely proud to have raised $16,000.
