On September 30th, 2017, we celebrated the official launch of C.J.ROCKER with the STOP TRAFFICK Charity Launch Gala. 100% of ticket sales of a gourmet three-course meal and all donations supported Covenant House and their incredible work with victims and survivors of sex trafficking. The evening featured two guest speakers. A case worker specializing in victims of the sex trade from Fight4Freedom educated guests on the cause. And a survivor of sex trafficking, who bravely shared her story of being exploited for over ten years, for the very first time.
Sex trafficking is a cause we feel needs to be brought to the forefront of conversations as it is constantly avoided due to it's dark nature and belief that it is only a problem abroad. Yet, it is far more prevalent on our streets than most of us would ever imagine. Our goal was to donate $10,000. Our team was incredibly proud to have presented a cheque to Covenant House for $12,000.
